Ola, I’m René.
This is my little creative space where I write about small artists and global challenges. Local communities and adventurous trips. Creative work and mental health. Different cultures, people, places and life philosophies.
I write this personal newsletter to follow curiosities, process experiences, broaden the horizon and share thoughts. The letter goes out to friends and everyone interested once per month.
I like to think of the newsletter as a way to process. Every issue orbits around different topics. You’ll find food for thought, interesting links, personal notes or a short essay.
I used to write more work related but am turning the newsletter to a more personal level so you might also encounter pictures from me on a farm or changing flat tires of my bike in France.

About me
I grew up in Germany with family roots in Brazil and Italy. We call it the “Grande Familia” and at this point in time I’m in the Netherlands.
Like other people I’m trying to figure stuff out. Grandma said it will stay that way and I hope she’s right. Work is a continuous search of who I am and what the world needs. I run a small collaboration studio with my good friend Daniel Wirtz. The current project is an online educational platform for people in organisations, it’s Facilitator School.
La musica is another big part in my life. Music brings people together, individuals can express themselves and it unites earthlings on every corner of the world. I love to jam wether it’s on a middle eastern dinner with strangers, while visiting friends in the UK or on the street with neighbours in northern Brazil .
I recently started bouldering and am having a lot of fun with it, in the summer I volunteer at a small food project and practice capoeira.
